# Invite your team

Bring in the people who answer customers, and the ones who only need to work with you. Members are free.

## Invite someone

1. In the app, go to **Settings › Team** and click **Add member**.
2. Enter their first name and email. Choose a **Role**: Admin, Agent or Member. Agent is the default.
3. Pick their departments. For an Agent, you can also switch on Knowledge and AI Playground.
4. Click **Send invitation**.

They get an email with **Accept the invitation**. The link works once, for 7 days. They set a password and they are in. Someone who already has a Retily account with that email confirms, then switches to your workspace from the menu.

- No email? Click **Send again** next to their name on the team list.
- To take someone out, click **Remove**. They lose access at once.

## Roles

**Owner**

Everything. The person who created the workspace, and only one. Only the Owner changes the plan, deletes the workspace, and changes or removes an Admin.

**Admin**

Everything else, every setting included. Sees the plan but can’t change it.

**Agent**

Answers the chats and tickets that reach them (their own, and their departments’ tickets). No settings. Knowledge and the AI Playground stay off unless you switch them on.

**Member**

Free. Team chat (Communication), Tasks and Reminders only. Never sees customers, chats or tickets.

Need something in between? **Settings › Roles & Permissions**, **Add role**: a custom role starts from the Agent’s permissions, and you switch on what it needs.

## Seats

The Owner, Admins, Agents and custom roles each take a seat. Members never do. An invitation takes its seat as soon as it is sent.

**Starter**

1 seat: yours. No extra seats.

**Growth**

2 seats included.

**Pro**

3 seats included.

**Extra seats**

On Growth and Pro, $9 a month, or $90 a year on annual plans. An extra seat adds a teammate, not AI credits: your AI credits come with your plan.

### “Seat limit reached”

Your seats are all taken. Invite the person as a Member (free), or free a seat. The Owner sees the plan and seats in **Settings › Billing**. See [Pricing](https://retily.com/pricing).
