Wonderchat is one of the strongest products in the trust-first AI support niche, and it recently repriced upmarket. As of early August 2026, the plans are:
| Plan | Billed yearly | Billed monthly | Credits / month | Stated allowance |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 20 | ~10 resolutions |
| Basic | $124/mo | $149/mo | 5,000 | ~1,000 resolutions |
| Scale (“Popular”) | $417/mo | $499/mo | 25,000 | ~5,000 resolutions |
| Enterprise | from $1,499 | from $1,499 | custom | custom |
Extra credits are a $29.99 one-time top-up per 1,000. Their own blog still references the earlier $29 entry price, which is the band the product left behind.
Three things worth understanding before you size a plan:
- 1
Two meters run at once. Message credits are the hard unit; the “~resolutions” figure is a soft outcome estimate printed beside them. Budget on credits, not resolutions.
- 2
Capability is tiered. The voice agent, helpdesk integrations, and advanced analytics arrive at Scale ($417+). SOC 2 and HIPAA paperwork are Enterprise items.
- 3
Seats are bundled, not per-person. 1 / 3 / 5 seats by tier. Price does not scale with team size, which is genuinely buyer-friendly at these tiers.
Who Wonderchat is actually right for
Being honest about a competitor's strengths is the only way this page is worth your time. Pick Wonderchat if:
You need multiple distinct AI agents (they sell 2 to 4 per plan and it is a real workflow there).
Your buyer runs security due diligence: their whole positioning is grounded, cited answers, and the enterprise tier carries the compliance paperwork.
You want a voice agent from the same trained knowledge and a Scale-tier budget.
You resolve thousands of conversations a month, where a $417 flat plan against per-resolution billers is honestly a good trade.
If you were shopping at the old price
The $29 to $99 band Wonderchat vacated still exists; it just belongs to other products now.
Chatbase ($32 a month, free plan): the benchmark train-on-your-content bot. 700 credits at entry, $40 per extra 1,000.
SiteGPT ($39 a month billed annually): trains on your site, meters per message.
Chatling ($40 a month, free plan): closest to the old Wonderchat shape; credits are model-multiplied, so read its table.
Retily ($0, $39, or $79 a month, flat): ours, bias declared. $39 buys 3,000 credits where one credit is one AI answer, with no model multipliers, and the support system is included rather than integrated: email inbox, tickets, live chat, knowledge base, team workspace. Every feature is in every plan, including the free one (200 answers a month). Like Wonderchat, we let you build the agent from your URL and try it before signing up; unlike Wonderchat, the price is the same whether the AI has a good month or a great one, and top-ups are $15 per 1,000.
The comparison that actually matters
Wonderchat's Basic at $149 monthly buys 5,000 credits and 3 seats of a chatbot platform; a helpdesk behind it is an integration at Scale tier. Retily's Growth at $79 buys 9,000 credits and 3 seats with the helpdesk built in. If your support runs through one AI widget and you already have a helpdesk you love, Wonderchat's trust positioning is real and worth paying for. If you are also paying for the helpdesk, the inbox, and the team tools separately, the arithmetic stops favoring it.
