Install on WordPress
The chat widget is one line of code. On WordPress, a small free plugin puts it on every page for you, so you never edit your theme.

1. Copy your code in Retily
- In the app, go to Settings › Widget.
- Next to your chat widget, click Install.
- Click Copy code.
It looks like this, with your own workspace name:
<script src="https://app.retily.com/v1/widget.js" data-org="your-workspace"></script>
2. Add the WPCode plugin
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins › Add New.
- Search for WPCode, click Install Now, then Activate.
WordPress.com
On WordPress.com, installing plugins needs a paid plan: Personal, Premium, Business or Commerce.
3. Paste the code in the footer
- Go to Code Snippets › Header & Footer.
- Paste your code in the Footer box.
- Click Save Changes, at the top right.
The widget now loads on every page of your site.
4. Check it
- Back in Retily’s install dialog, under Check your site, type your site’s address.
- Click Check installation. Installed means the code is on that page.
- If the check doesn’t find it and your site uses a caching plugin, clear its cache, then check again.
- The first time the widget loads on your site, the Get started step on Home ticks itself.
- Still no chat? Look at the widget’s Allowed Domains, as Install the chat widget explains.
